The historic colonial building with stunning architectural details was a highlight of our stay. The high ceilings and beautiful design added to the charm. The service was excellent, with friendly and unobtrusive staff. The pool area and sauna/roman bath area were elegant and provided a peaceful retreat. The location was perfect, with great restaurants and cute boutiques just steps away. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner options were delicious, with a variety of choices. The activities offered, including the city walking tour and tea plantation visit, were well-organized and enjoyable. Additional amenities such as the spa and yoga pavilion added to the overall experience.
The lack of elevators in the old building could be an issue for those with mobility issues, so it is important to request a low/ground floor room. The lack of a gym and workout equipment may be disappointing for guests seeking those amenities.

The hotel is located in a secret walled garden surrounded by lush greenery, making it a peaceful haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Guests can enjoy the serene atmosphere while being just a short walk away from the Galle Cricket Stadium. the rooms are beautifully decorated in a colonial style, with comfortable beds and luxurious bathrooms. the breakfast served is of excellent quality, with a variety of options to choose from.
The payment process was inconvenient and required too much effort.

Great breakfast spread and friendly staff. Conveniently located in the heart of the town.
Rooms are tiny, difficult to circulate and dingy. Balconies are uncomfortable and unusable.

This hotel is a luxurious getaway with exclusive amenities that catered to our every need. From the impeccable service to the relaxing sauna and spa centre, it was a true indulgence. Our room had exclusive advantages, including a private balcony overlooking the stunning surroundings, and was decorated with elegant, unique furnishings.
The limited choice of beverages offered in the Bar/Lounge area. it was more than compensated for by the stunning views of the location, and the private facilities like the rooftop pool and bar.
